Rebsorten 65% Grenache, 25% Carignan, 10% Syrah von bis zu 90 Jahre alten Rebstöcken, 14 Monate in Barriques aus französischer Allier-Eiche ausgebaut. Alkoholgehalt: 14,5 Vol.% Verkostungsnotiz Intensives, fast schwarzes Rot mit violetten Reflexen. Ein Duft nach reifen Beeren, Vanille und einer würzigen Komponente. It was one of the earliest harvests ever, but the old vines (this comes from plants averaging no less than 70 years of age) still managed to deliver a balanced crop. It's powerful but has very fine tannins, a velvety texture and a very pleasant mouthfeel. 18,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2019.
