Langhe Nebbiolo by Bel Colle is an elegant red wine produced in the prestigious Langhe area of Piedmont, using 100% Nebbiolo grapes. This wine fully expresses the typical characteristics of the grape variety and the area of origin, the sandy-calcareous soils of the Alba area give the wine structure and finesse. The vinification involves a soft pressing of the grapes and a fermentation at a controlled temperature between 25 and 28°C for a period of 10-12 days, with 2-3 pumping overs per day to maximize extraction from the skins. It has a bright ruby red color that tends to garnet with aging. On the nose it stands out for floral and fruity aromas, with notes of raspberry, plum and ripe cherry. On the palate it is clean and enveloping, with a dry and pleasantly fruity finish, which makes it a versatile and well-balanced wine. This Nebbiolo is perfect to pair with pasta dishes with rich sauces, red and white meats, and medium or long-aged cheeses.
