The Vicenza Merlot of the Torre dei Vescovi di Colli Vicentini line is born in vineyards located in Montecchio Maggiore, in the heart of the Vicenza hills. It is produced entirely with Merlot grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-26 ° C. Subsequently the wine is aged partly in steel and partly in wood, before being bottled. This Merlot has a brilliant ruby red color. The nose opens with a vinous and intense bouquet, with hints of red berry fruit. On the palate it is full and full-bodied, with a good softness that accompanies towards a pleasant finish of green pepper. Perfect to accompany roasted white and red meats, it is ideal in combination with white meats, especially with poultry and rabbit.
