The red wine Casamatta is born from the younger vineyards of the renowned Bibi Graetz winery, located near the Fiesole hills, overlooking the city of Florence. This wine is primarily made from Sangiovese grapes, with the addition of Merlot and Syrah grapes from various areas of the Graetz estates.Like its white twin, the red Casamatta is also produced by blending wines obtained from the most recent harvest with a cuvée of wines from the past five years. A truly original winemaking process, in harmony with the artistic and original spirit of the Fiesole-based winery.It presents a clear and very intense ruby red color. On the nose, it is subtle with intense notes of fresh red fruit, predominantly cherry, with some floral hints. On the palate, it proves to be a well-rounded wine with smooth tannins and vibrant acidity, offering an interesting finish that echoes small berries and light spicy sensations.This red wine is immediate and easy to drink.
