The Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine of Santa Margherita is produced from Glera, Chardonnay and Malbec vines, which grow on medium-textured river-alluvial soils with porphyritic components that give this sparkling wine a distinct and intriguing personality. The vinification begins with a base of white wine to which a rosé is added obtained from the brief maceration of the red grapes on the skins. The second fermentation takes place in a horizontal autoclave at controlled temperatures for about a month, followed by aging on the yeasts in an autoclave for 2 or 3 months. The delicate rosé color of the wine introduces a range of floral fragrances, with notes of white pulp fruit and nuances of small red fruits that combine in a vibrant olfactory profile. On the palate, the wine offers a crisp and persistent freshness, which contributes to a sensorial experience oriented towards drinkability.
