Banfi Governo all'Uso Toscano Stilnovo Toscana IGT 0,75 ℓ

The Toscana StilNovo Governo all'Uso Toscano was born in the vineyards of the Banfi estate, located in the well-known Sienese municipality of Montalcino, on the border with the Val d'Orcia. It is made from Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected only by hand starting from the second half of September. The first fermentation, which involves most of the grapes, takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18-28 ° C for about 2-3 weeks. After blending with the rest of the grapes, left to dry until late autumn, the second fermentation takes place in the same steel containers at controlled temperature for 3-4 weeks followed by a partial maturation in third passage barriques. With its very intense ruby red color, it opens to the nose with an explosion of morello cherry, berries and aromatic herbs, enriched with intense notes of dried flowers. On the palate it is elegant, pleasantly fruity and good to drink. With a savory and persistent finish, the freshness of this wine makes it versatile in combination with any type of dish.
