Shiraz - KaapzichtKaapzicht Estate 's Kaapzicht Shiraz appears an intense ruby red with a deep dark core and slight discoloration at the rim. It opens the nose with sweet, floral scents that evolve into an odeur of wild blackberry, mulberry, spicy rhubarb and licorice. The palate is generous and juicy, but at the same time elegant and quite concentrated with harmonious, nicely integrated oak and a clean, appetizing and long finish. We recommend it with aromatic duck dishes, sweet-spicy game dishes and various soft cheeses such as Brie, Camembert and goat cheese.
