Vinification of Terre Bianche Alghero by Sella & Mosca The elegant Terre Bianche Alghero from Italy is a varietal wine made from the Torbato grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Sardinia. Here the vines drive their roots deep into limestone soils. After manual harvesting, the grapes reach the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
