On the palate, this well-balanced rosé wine is characterized by an extremely light texture. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the Balearic wine-growing region, more precisely from Mallorca VT, finally convinces with a good aftertaste. Vinification of Rosat from Bodegas Ribas The balanced Rosat from Spain is a cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Callet and Manto Negro. It is obvious that the Rosat is determined by more than just the Mallorca VT soil. This Spaniard can in the best sense of the word be described as an Old World wine, which presents itself in an exceptionally impressive manner. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Rosat are harvested exclusively by hand, without the help of rough and barely selective machines. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Rosat can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
