The grapes grow in the French wine region Corbières in Languedoc. This wine shines deep dark ruby red in the glass. Fine fruit of ripe wild berries and blackberries seduce the nose. On the palate, one senses juicy fruit nuances of raspberries, black cherries and blueberries. Fine spice of rosemary and thyme and opulent hints of cedar complement. The body of this French red wine presents itself fleshy with a supple structure and fine-grained tannins. Vinification of the Blason d'Aussières Corbières Magnum According to Bordeaux tradition, a second wine is also produced at Château d'Aussières. The grapes come from the first harvests or younger vines. These are also carefully sorted and only highly ripe grapes are used. They are then carefully pressed after maceration and fermentation on the skins. About 20% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The remaining wine continues to age in stainless steel tanks.
