Vinification of Château Lacoste-Borie The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Château Lacoste-Borie cuvée is Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on gravel soils. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
