Some of the vines in the Steinmassls vineyard grow in the “Lyra system”, an elaborate wire frame system that comes from France and divides the foliage wall, allowing each individual leaf more air and sunlight. The grapes can always dry well, but the canopy also protects them from too much sun. The result is high-quality grape material, the basis for the highest quality wines. Delicate on the palate of white vineyard peach, a hint of drop fruit, nuances of lime zest, mineral touch. Taut, tightly woven, lemony notes, green apple, crisp, appears light-footed, a slim, precise food accompaniment with reliable aging potential, formidable summer wine.
