Villa a Sesta Vas Gold Toscana IGT Rosso 0,75 ℓ

The Vas Gold of Villa a Sesta comes from the best vineyard located in Casanova on the Sienese hills, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga. It is produced with 100% Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested manually, then destemmed, crushed and placed separately in thermoregulated truncated conical vats for vinification. The alcoholic fermentation takes place for about 7-10 days and the maceration on the skins for approx. 10 days. The wine ages for 12 months in tonneaux and then for 12 months in large barrels. Once in the bottle, it ages for a further 12 months. Deep ruby red in colour, the nose reveals balsamic and spicy aromas of cocoa, pepper, red fruit, licorice and cinnamon. The sip is full, intense and with juicy tannins. Ideal to accompany important and tasty game and braised dishes.
