Vinification of the Feuerheerd's Reserva Tawny Port The powerful Reserva Tawny Port from Portugal is a cuvée vinified from the Tempranillo, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Reserva Tawny Port is aged for another 84 months in oak barrels. Food recommendation for Feuerheerd's Reserva Tawny Port This Portuguese port is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as a companion to red onion stuffed with couscous and apricots, arugula penne or elderflower yogurt ice cream with lemon balm.
