Grifi by Avignonesi is an iconic Super Tuscan born from the meeting of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, expressing a perfect balance between Tuscan tradition and international vision. This is a wine of great character, able to combine freshness, structure, and depth, offering an elegant and complex profile.Vinification takes place separately for the two varieties in stainless steel vats, with temperature-controlled fermentation and prolonged maceration on the skins. Afterwards, the wine is aged in oak barrels, where it develops harmony, structure, and greater aromatic complexity.It presents an intense ruby red color with purple highlights. The nose reveals notes of ripe fruit and violet, followed by hints of graphite and delicate vanilla nuances. On the palate, it is dense and structured, with notes of plum and blueberry, accompanied by balsamic and spicy nuances, supported by good acidity and well-integrated tannins that lead to a long and persistent finish.It pairs well with red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
