Cusumano Lucido Terre Siciliane IGT 0,75 ℓ

The Lucido of the Cusumano winery is a mono-varietal white produced exclusively from Catarratto Extra-Lucido grapes, a version with a more marked acidity than the traditional Catarratto. It owes its name to the shiny appearance of the surface of the berries. Once the grapes are hand picked, they undergo a low temperature maceration phase. The free-run must obtained by soft pressing ferments at a controlled temperature of 18-20 °C. We then proceed with the maturation of the wine in steel for 4 months on the fine lees and with the final ageing in the bottle. It presents itself to the eye with an intense straw yellow color. On the nose, it evokes fruity aromas reminiscent of pineapple and banana that slowly turn towards hints of candied citrus. In the mouth it is material and warm, with good freshness and persistence. Ideal as an aperitif, it is the perfect companion for second courses based on fish.
