The Morellino di Scansano Riserva Madrechiesa di Terenzi was born in vineyards located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, thanks to the passion and tradition of the Terenzi family who manages to express the characteristics of the territory through their wines. It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested during the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for about 12 months in barrique, and for a further 6 months in bottle. Madrechies a is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and persistent bouquet with hints of black currant, strawberry trees, black pepper and tobacco. On the palate it is dry, very savory and warm. Perfect to accompany red and roasted meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
