Sancerre Blanc AOP - LES BELTINS - J. De Villebois

Les Beltins is a single-vineyard wine from Ménétréol, southeast of Sancerre, near the Loire River. The vineyard comprises 1.48 hectares on an east-facing slope overlooking the river, with soil composed of a thick layer of flint. Vinification takes place with 10% of the wine aged in double-toasted 300-liter Burgundy barrels, and the remainder in cement tanks. After ten months of aging on the lees with batonnage, the cuvée is blended and bottled.
