Der Rubicon 2019 ist ein Kultwein aus dem kalifornischen Napa Valley. Seit dem ersten Jahrgang 1978 ist er das Flaggschiff des Inglenook Estate und von Anfang an ein Weltklassewein. Handwerkliche Perfektion, makellose Harmonie und eine expressive Frucht machen ihn zu einem Superstar der amerikanischen Weinproduktion. Spannungsgeladen, glamourös und anregend. Der 2019er verbindet den vollen Körper des warmen Jahres mit seidiger Textur und feinkörnigen, reifen Tanninen. In der Nase kommt sofort die würzige rote Frucht hervor, welche so typisch für den Rubicon ist. Am Gaumen wirken Säure und Textur zusammen mit Aromen von Tabak und Kakaobohnen wie ein perfektes Gemälde. Medium to full-bodied, it delivers a solid, firm and grainy texture with a lively backbone cutting through dense earth-laced layers, finishing long and minerally.
