Lesegut Tinto - Marques de GrinonThis Spanish red wine is a wonderful and fascinating blend of Graciano (30%), Syrah (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Petit Verdot (20%) grape varieties. Marqués de Griñón's Lesegut Tinto presents a deep purple color with brilliant, cherry-red highlights. The appealing and intensely fruity bouquet is reminiscent of ripe black cherries and wild berries. Gentle, mineral tones, peppermint and caramel notes accentuate the fruit flavors. On the palate, this Spanish wine is round, fresh and powerful with a velvety texture and a delicate, long finish. Vinification of the Vintage Tinto The hand-picked, fully ripe grapes, i.e. the vintage, are first destemmed, crushed and the resulting must is fermented in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. The must is then pressed and the wine is aged for ten months in French oak barrels until bottling. Food recommendation for the Vintage Tinto from Marqués de Griñon We recommend this red wine with saddle of venison with rosemary potatoes, wild boar stew and strong hard cheeses. The Lesegut Tinto is also a perfect companion to cozy barbecues.
