This wine shimmers in a clear golden yellow with sparkling reflections in the glass. The expressive bouquet enchants the nose with intense aromas of sun-ripened citrus and yellow stone fruit - especially apricot comes to the fore. In addition, there are fine notes of cedar wood. On the palate, this Spanish white wine convinces with a fresh, multilayered body that plays wonderfully with the aromas of the nose and harmonizes. The final touch of great length gives this wine. Vinification of the Marqués de Murrieta Capellania Blanco The Viura grapes for this white wine come from the single vineyard Capellanía. This site was founded 1945 and is located on a plateau at 485 meters above sea level. Carefully hand-picked, the berries are immediately brought to the winery of Marques de Murrieta. There, the grapes are first carefully crushed and, after brief contact with the berry skins, gently pressed. The must is then fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks for 24 days. Only new French oak barrels are used for aging. In these barrels the Capellania Blanco rounds off harmoniously for 15 months.
