Frascati DOC - TiberioThe Frascati from the pen of Tiberio from Lazio reveals a brilliant, light yellow color in the swirled glass. This Italian cuvée presents wonderfully fragrant notes of white currants and gooseberries in the glass. There are also hints of sun-warmed rock and forest soil. The Tiberio Frascati is pleasantly dry for wine drinkers. This white wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a wine above the 4 euro mark. On the palate, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Frascati flatters the palate with a soft sensation without lacking freshness. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Lazio wine-growing region impresses with a beautiful aftertaste. Vinification of Frascati from Tiberio The basis for this elegant Frascati from Lazio is grapes from the Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano varieties. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Dining recommendations for Frascati from Tiberio This white wine from Italy should ideally be served chilled at 8 - 10°C with coconut and lime fish curry, roast trout with ginger pear or vegetable salad with beetroot.
