Vinification of the Primitivo Puglia from Luccarelli This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Primitivo. Only the best grapes were harvested for this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Luccarelli. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Apulia. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and sand. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for 5 months in French and American oak barrels.
