In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Coquimbo finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of nectarine and lime appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils join in. Vinification of the Cordillera Chardonnay from Miguel Torres Chile The balanced Cordillera Chardonnay from Chile is a single varietal wine made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Coquimbo. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. The grapes for this white wine from Chile, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures.
