Vinification of the white from Weingut Leon Gold The elegant white from Germany is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Gelber Muskateller, Kerner, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling. In Württemberg, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sandstone and marl. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the white can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months....
