Vinification of the Mainova Tinto from Mainova The powerful Mainova Tinto from Portugal is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Alicante Bouschet, Baga and Touriga Nacional. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Mainova Tinto is aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spinach gratin with almonds, leek tortilla or arugula penne.
