Vinification of the Trie Rot from Triebaumer Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt grapes form the basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Trie Rot cuvée from Triebaumer. Once perfect physiological ripeness has been ensured, the grapes for the Trie Rot are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of stressful and less selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
