To the nose, this Weinhaus Steffen white wine shows all sorts of apples, nashi pear, black cherries, quince and pears. As if that wasn't already impressive, the stainless steel aging adds juniper, green peppers and sun-warmed rocks. On the palate, the texture of this fleet-footed white wine is wonderfully light and silky. With its present fruit acidity, the ST #10 Riesling is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this storable white wine from the wine-growing region the Mosel finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of plum and apple. Vinification of the Weinhaus Steffen ST #10 Riesling Basis for the elegant ST #10 Riesling from the Mosel are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the ST #10 Riesling is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to roasted trout with ginger pear, spaghetti with yogurt mint pesto or fruity endive salad.
