Sustainable Rosé - CederbergIn the glass, the Sustainable Rosé of Cederberg shows a bright light red color. The first nose of Sustainable Rosé shows notes of strawberries and raspberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by mineral. The Cederberg Sustainable Rosé presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine lover. This rosé wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. In the finish, this wine from the Cape South Coast wine-growing region, which can be stored well, finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of strawberry and raspberry are evident. Vinification of the Sustainable Rosé from Cederberg This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Shiraz. For this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Cederberg, only first-class grapes were used. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles. Food recommendation for the Sustainable Rosé from Cederberg This South African rosé wine is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to roasted trout with ginger pear, coconut-lime fish curry, or spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto.
