Val Duna Merlot - Reh Kendermann

Val Duna Merlot - Reh KendermannVal Duna Merlot - Reh KendermannThe Val Duna Merlot from Reh Kendermann in the Palatinate reveals a dense, purple color in the swirled glass. The bouquet of this red wine from the Palatinate captivates with aromas of strawberry jam, plum and blackberry. It is precisely its fruity nature that makes this wine so special. This dense red wine is full-bodied and multilayered on the palate. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Val Duna Merlot presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally thrilled with considerable reverberation. Vinification of the Val Duna Merlot by Reh Kendermann This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Merlot. Only the best grape material was brought in for this wonderfully powerful varietal wine from Reh Kendermann. The grapes for this red wine from Germany, when perfectly ripe, are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of the fermentation, the Val Duna Merlot is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Food recommendation for the Reh Kendermann Val Duna Merlot This German wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as a companion to lemon chili chicken with bulgur, spicy curry with lamb or Thai cucumber salad.
