The first nose of Pinot Nero reveals notes of currant, blueberry, blackberry and sour cherry. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as black currant, bitter almond and black cherry. On the palate, Vallarom's Pinot Nero opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and fleshy texture. Finally, the finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, delights with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the limestone-dominated soils. Vinification of Pinot Nero from Vallarom Balanced Pinot Nero from Italy is a single-vineyard wine, organically vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Pinot Nero can harmonize further for 12 months on the fine lees.
