Chardonnay Unwooded - Bon CourageBon Courage's light-bodied Chardonnay Unwooded flows into the glass with a brilliant golden yellow color. This single varietal South African wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of kumquats, pink grapefruit, lemongrass and grapefruit in the glass. These are joined by hints of black tea, vanilla and gingerbread spice. This white from Bon Courage is the right wine for all wine drinkers who like as little residual sugar as possible in their wine. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Chardonnay Unwooded flatters with a velvety mouthfeel, without at the same time lacking in juicy liveliness. In the finish, this white wine from the Breede River Valley wine-growing region finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of lemon and pomelo show through. Vinification of the Bon Courage Chardonnay Unwooded The elegant Chardonnay Unwooded from Breede River Valley is made from grapes of the Chardonnay variety. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
