Selezione Sergio Lugana Riserva DOC - ZenatoThe Selezione Sergio Lugana Riserva from Zenato is a complex, structured white wine made from the Trebbiano di Lugana grape variety (100%). A clear golden color with sparkling highlights shines in the glass of this wine. The elegant bouquet is characterized by expressive aromas of sun-ripened citrus fruits, exotic fruits and floral notes - delicately underpinned by a hint of herbs. With a powerful body and mineral nuances, this Italian white wine is convincing on the palate. The very good structure supports the wonderful complexity of this wine. The finish is wonderfully long and is underlined by a mineral accent. Vinification of the Zenato Selezione Sergio Lugana Riserva The late harvest for the Trebbiano grapes takes place in mid-October. Once the grapes have arrived in the wine cellar, 70% of them are fermented in large wooden barrels (volume 5000 liters) and 30% in stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is complete, this wine is aged in new barrels and tonneaux for 6 months. This Lugana is then bottled and rests harmoniously in the wine cellars for 12 months.
