Infinito Jumilla DO - Ego BodegasThe Infinito of Ego Bodegas is the flagship of the winery. An incredibly intense red wine made from Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 18 months in French and American oak. In the glass, the Infinito comes with intense and dense purple color. The nose of this powerhouse promises ripe red and black berries such as blackberry and raspberry. Some blueberry complements, rounded out by plenty of spice. Toast, licorice, some dark chocolate as well as balsamic notes come to mind here. On the palate, the Infinito of Ego Bodegas is very powerful and dense, but at the same time supported by a vital fruit acidity. The tannins are powerful, but already show excellent integration. A soft, fantastically velvety finish rounds off the Infinito. Vinification For the Infinito of Ego Bodegas only the best grapes from vines over 40 years old are used, which grow in the DO Jumilla at an altitude of over 900 meters. After harvesting, the grapes are still selected by hand before being crushed. After fermentation, which is carried out separately by grape variety, the wines are aged for 18 months in French and American oak barricas. Food pairing for the Infinito Cabernet Monastrell Enjoy this Spanish red wine of the extra class with hearty meat dishes of lamb or beef, with chili con carne or simply pure, accompanied by the best dark chocolate.
