Berola Campo de Borja DOP - Bodegas BorsaoThe Borsao Berola Campo de Borja DO of Bodegas Borsao is vinified in Spain in the DOP Campo de Borja and convinces with an outstanding aromatic complexity. Tasting notes/ Degustation for the Borsao Berola This very harmonious and round cuvée shows an intense red color in the glass, reminiscent of ripe cherries. The Berola convinces with its extraordinary aromatic interplay of black fruits, balsamic as well as roasted notes. The concentrated cherry fruit of the Garnacha grape combines wonderfully with the spiciness of the Syrah grape in this red wine. On the palate, this Spaniard is warm and smooth with soft but persistent tannins that are in perfect balance with the alcohol. A distinctly round wine, which has also been attractively visualized on the label. Vinification/ Production of Borsao Berola Campo de Borja DO Berola was born from the idea of José Luis Chueca, chief oenologist of Bodegas Borsao, to combine the cherry-concentrated fruit of the Garnacha grape with the spice and deep color of the Syrah grape, thus creating a very harmonious, round wine in which the aromas come full circle. For the production of this red wine were used Grapes from 35 to 60-year-old Garnacha vineyards and 10-year-old Syrah vineyards were vinified separately and aged for 14 months in American and French oak barriques. Only then was the wine blended. Serving Suggestion/ Food Pairing for the Berola Campo de Borja DO by Borsao Serve this wine at a temperature of 15 to 17°C to enjoy its full flavor potential.
