Cabernet Sauvignon - TokaraThe Cabernet Sauvignon from Tokara is vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), Malbec (8%) and Petit Verdot (7%). In the glass, this South African red wine shows a cherry red color. The bouquet reveals aromas of blackcurrant and cocoa and is complemented by subtle notes of eucalyptus. The palate is indulged by aromas of dark fruit - especially blackberry - and nuances of mocha and spices. The firm tannin structure accompanies into the wonderfully long-lasting finish. Vinification of the Tokara Cabernet Sauvignon The optimally ripe grapes are fermented in both open and closed fermentation racks. In open fermentation, the mash is regularly pumped over and submerged. This red wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barriques. Food recommendation for the Cabernet Sauvignon from Tokara This dry red wine from South Africa is a great food companion to spicy-strong goulash stews or also to cassoulet. But also to cozy barbecues with family and friends, this wine is a real pleasure.
