The vines are rooted in soils that are sandy and calcareous. The predominant climate in Sardinia is warm and dry in summer and temperate in winter. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for a period of 15 days. After the early malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to barriques where it is aged for 16-18 months. After that, the wine is aged in bottle for another 12 months.
