Spätburgunder 1,0 l - Weingut KieferIn the glass, the Pinot Noir from the house Weingut Kiefer shows a brilliant shimmering light red color. The nose of this red wine from Baden enchants with nuances of black currant, mulberry, blueberry and morello cherry. If we trace the aromatics further, bitter chocolate, black tea and gingerbread spice are added. The Pinot Noir is particularly dense on the palate due to its pleasant residual sweetness. The Weingut Kiefer Pinot Noir presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine drinker. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Pinot Noir reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. Vinification of the Pinot Noir from Weingut Kiefer The elegant Pinot Noir from Germany is a single-varietal wine, made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loam, loess and volcanic rock. After manual harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. Food recommendation for the Pinot Noir of Weingut Kiefer This German wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, arugula penne or lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs.
