Ars in Vitro - Vitivinicola Tandem Ars in Vitro , art in a glass, is the name of this elegant, fresh red wine with an artistic label by Vitivinicola Tandem from the D.O. Navarra in northern Spain. This blend of Tempranillo and Merlot flows into the glass with a deep dark cherry red color. On the nose unfolds a bouquet of intense floral aromas, violets, mineral notes and hints of cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Fresh due to its pleasing acidity, expressive on the palate, with beautiful fruit and body, pleasantly long finish. This fruity Spaniard goes particularly well with stews, poultry or pasta with dark sauces. Lightly chilled, it is a recommendation for the summer! Cultivation and vinification The Ars in Vitro is vinified as a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Merlot. The vines are on average 28 years old. Harvesting is done by hand for the Tempranillo and by machine for the Merlot, and temperature-controlled maceration takes place separately in concrete tanks. The modern winery Vitvinicola Tandem is managed by José-Maria Fraile and oenologist Alicia Eyaralar. It is located in the valley of Yerri in the D.O. Navarra on the Camino de Santiago, the famous Way of St. James, which leads directly to Santiago de Compostela. Awards International Wine Cellar 1/2016 , 90/100 points
