Xx Rouge Côtes de Thongue IGP - Domaine Bassac

The outstanding 2016 vintage inspired the two young winemakers François Delhon and Jean-Philippe Leca to create a new cuvée. This has since represented the pinnacle of Domaine Bassac's wine pyramid. The idea is to produce something truly special in good years. This was impressively achieved in 2020 thanks to the blend of Syrah and Marselan grape varieties. A spicy nose with intense hints of dark berries. The palate is full, dense, and powerful. At the same time, it is both opulent and already very smooth. It still has a lot of potential.
