Chardonnay trocken - Michel SchneiderIn the glass, the Chardonnay from the pen of Michel Schneider offers a bright golden yellow color. The first nose of Chardonnay reveals notes of lemon and honeydew melon. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by vanilla. On the palate, Michel Schneider's Chardonnay opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. Balanced and complex, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Chardonnay is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of honeydew melon and lemon appear. Vinification of the Michel Schneider Chardonnay This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Chardonnay. For this exceptionally balanced single-varietal wine from Michel Schneider, only the best grapes were harvested. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Chardonnay is left to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Food recommendation for the Chardonnay from Michel Schneider This white wine from Germany is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to chickpea curry, fruity endive salad or spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce.
