Vinification of the Rosé from Speis&Trank The foundation for the balanced rosé from Romania is grapes from the varieties Rara Neagra, Fetească Neagră, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. After hand-picking, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. The fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Following the completion of fermentation, the rosé can harmonize further on the fine lees for several months. Food Recommendations for Speis&Trank Rosé This rosé wine from Romania should preferably be enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompaniment to a variety of dishes, but is also enjoyable when sipped solo.
