The Pinot, which shines in transparent ruby red, shows a cool, a spicy and a juicy side. It starts off with a slightly smoky and stony note, which is then captured by black berries and some crisp plums. Herbs and wet stone with a little moss and undergrowth finally largely replace the fruit. On the palate, the Pinot Noir Kreuznach shows a wonderful freshness, which is expressed both in a clear, ripe acidity and in a crisp berry fruit. Here, too, the main role is taken over a short time later by a slightly spicy, but above all stony mineral note, which clearly characterizes the Pinot Noir. The tannin here is very fine, even at a young age, very silky and yet has grip. Together with the dry extract, it delivers a lot of substance, right through to the very fresh and agile finale.
