Grand Carte Blanche - GeldermannThe light-bodied Grand Carte Blanche from Geldermann glides into the glass with a brilliant platinum yellow color. This German cuvée shows wonderfully expressive notes of nashi pear, peaches, quince and apples in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits. This dry sparkling wine from Geldermann is perfect for people who like it absolutely dry. On the palate, the texture of this light-bodied white wine is wonderfully dense. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of nectarine and quince show through. Vinification of the Grand Carte Blanche from Geldermann The basis for the elegant Grand Carte Blanche from Baden are grapes from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir and Ugni Blanc. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in the bottle at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. Food recommendation for Geldermann Grand Carte Blanche Enjoy this sparkling wine from Germany ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to vegetable stew with pesto, spinach gratin with almonds or leek soup.
