Fine Tawny Port - Feuerheerd'sThis Portuguese cuvée reveals wonderfully expressive notes of black cherries, black currants, plums and blueberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of cocoa bean, cinnamon and black tea. Feuerheerd's Fine Tawny Port reveals an incredibly fruit-forward flavor to us on the palate, which is of course due to its residual sweetness flavor profile. On the palate, the texture of this punchy port is wonderfully dense. In the finish, this port wine from the wine-growing region Douro & Porto finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of mulberry and blackberry show. Vinification of the Fine Tawny Port from Feuerheerd's This powerful port from Portugal is cuvetted from Tempranillo, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Fine Tawny Port is aged for several months in oak barrels. Food recommendation for the Fine Tawny Port from Feuerheerd's This Portuguese is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to yogurt mousse with poppy seeds, red onion stuffed with couscous and apricots or lemon chili chicken with bulgur.
