Vinification of Feuerheerd's Fine Ruby Port The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful cuvée Fine Ruby Port from Feuerheerd's are Tempranillo, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Fine Ruby Port is aged for several months in oak barrels. Food recommendation for Feuerheerd's Fine Ruby Port This Portuguese Port is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to coconut-kefir cream, blackberry cream dessert or veal and onion casserole.
