A delicate rosé color with sparkling highlights and a wonderfully fine perlage shimmers in the glass. The bouquet over the nose with a multifaceted aromatic diversity - fresh aromas of colorful bouquets of flowers, juicy wild strawberries and ripe cherry presented - underpinned by notes of freshly cut hay and a hint of lime blossom. On the palate, this Champagne is delightfully juicy with a soft, velvety body and expressive strawberry notes. The medium-long finish is accompanied by hints of citrus as well as dried herbs. Vinification of the Champagne André Roger Grand Rosé Grand Cru From the Grand Cru site Ay in the French growing region Champagne come the grapes for this wonderful sparkling wine. The harvest from the 45 year old vines is done exclusively by hand and the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There, the grapes are gently pressed whole. The must is then fermented partly in wooden barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks. For the second fermentation, with the addition of the tirage liqueur (yeast and sugar), the base wine is bottled and left to mature in the wine cellar of André Roger. Through regular riddling and turning, the yeast that was initially at the bottom gradually collects in the neck of the bottle. This sparkling wine remains on the lees for at least 36 months. Finally, this champagne is disgorged. This involves freezing the yeast plug in the neck of the bottle and opening the bottle. The shortfall caused by opening is made up with a shipping dosage (sugar and wine).
