Example of tradition, expertise and passion, as well as the art of winemaking of the Piccini family. This Chianti Superiore is one of the high quality pearls that make up the iconic Gold Collection. It is the result of a meticulous selection of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, harvested after reaching the perfect ripening stage. Fermentation takes place in separate batches for the two varieties, at controlled temperature. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine stays for 8 months in concrete tanks and for a further period in the bottle. Wine with an elegant ruby red colour, it has a complex, layered nose, with references to plum, black cherry and spices. In the mouth it shows an exceptional balance, structure, warmth and gustatory persistence. Not to be forgotten. Fantastic in the company of roasts and spicy first courses, it is perfect for barbecuing.
