Tenuta Ulisse Terre di Chieti IGT Primitivo 0,75 ℓ

The Terre di Chieti Primitivo Limited Edition by Tenuta Ulisse, was born in the heart of the Abruzzo wine scene. It is produced entirely from Primitivo grapes, which first undergo a crushing-destemming, and then macerated for 15–20 days. Alcoholic fermentation follows, again in steel, at 24-26 °C and partial ageing in French oak barrels. The wine is characterized by an intense purple colour. The nose opens with a bouquet of small berries, plums, cherry jam, spicy and tobacco notes, vanilla and coffee. On the palate it is pleasantly full-bodied, elegant and with soft tannins. It is ideal in combination with savoury first courses seasoned with meat or game sauces, as well as stewed meats. Perfect to accompany aged cheeses.
