Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc Premier Cru - Domaine Chanson

Chanson is one of the main owners of Clos des Mouches, which has a 4.5-hectare vineyard. A sunny terroir benefits from an ideal hilltop location at the southern end of the Beaune vineyards, on a spur toward Pommard. A 2-hectare plot on the upper side of the hill is planted with Chardonnay on a sand-covered limestone subsoil. Its color is light golden. Floral scents (acacia) blend with aromas of citrus and green almonds, with a hint of spice. Balanced with good tension. A precise and deep texture. A long and generous finish with a touch of minerality.
